Effectus - from the Latin verb efficio, effectus means "doing, making, effecting, accomplishing, executing, and performing." This describes what Effectus Insurance Managers does and who we are: insurance product or program underwriting and management specialists formed by a team of seasoned property and casualty, risk management, and financial professionals to accomplish the possible.
A Medieval Latin poet once wrote: "Imaginatio producit reales effectus," which translated says: "Imagination precedes sustainable results." By bringing imagination, innovation, and insight to the underwriting and production of program business, and by employing state-of-the-art tools not available to any previous generation of underwriters, Effectus accomplishes that which the program business segment has had limited success in doing – producing consistently profitable program business. Effectus transforms the improbable into the possible.
